  • 1929: they produced 100.000 bottles of sparkling wine per year – the production started growing remarkably during the war
  • 1948: nationalization
  • 1953: Zarea establishes its brandy department
  • 1958: Zarea produces all vermouth in Romania both for domestic consumption and for export
  • 2004: Zarea reinvents itself and enters the German tradition influence once again, due to the partnership with the Schloss Wachenheim group, world's no.1 in sparkling wines production.
